Yefim Roth

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Haifa, Faculty of Social Welfare & Health Science, in the Department of Human Service. My primary research focus is consumers' search for information. Specifically, my work examines situations in which consumers tend to under or over-search for information. Additionally, I investigate how consumers react to environmental cues, learn from the obtained information, respond to expert advice, and different environmental cues such as warnings and defaults. I am also interested in instructions comprehension.

My second broad research interest lies in improving well-being through the use of behavioral insights in field experiments. Specifically, I investigate how to improve healthy food consumption, encourage people to engage in more physical activities, and reduce smartphone usage.
